What area of London do you currently live in or most associate yourself with? I most associate myself with somewhere cool like Shoreditch so people don't realise I actually live in West Hampstead.
How would you describe your act in five words? Huh? Ohhhhhh, haha. Wait - what?
How long have you been doing comedy? 2 and a half years.
What is your day job? I write adverts.
What has been your worst job? I used to put little plastic screws onto little plastic cable ties. I got £10 for every 1000. My fingers were usually bleeding by the 400thone.
Why do you love comedy? It makes me laugh more than any other genre.
Who are your heroes? Steve Coogan, Tim Key, Chris Morris, Armando Iannucci, David Mitchell, Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant.
What made you bite the bullet and start performing? I was writing a SitCom and I heard Steve Merchant say stand up was a good way in. I thought 'THERE IS NO WAY I WILL EVER DO THAT' then I must've completely forgotten I thought that.
What was your first gig like? Deliciously awful.
What has been your biggest achievement so far? I've just won the Amused Moose competition. Well happy.
What has been your favourite gig? I played to 1,500 people at the Brighton Dome last year, which felt amazing.
And describe your worst? When I first did the Gong show at the Comedy Store:Got booed onto stage. Got called a c**t. Got gonged off.
Weirdest heckle? I'm not an otter!
What is the best thing about being a comedian? It's very rare you're required to put a little plastic screw onto a cable tie.
What is the biggest lesson you've learnt? Just be funny.
Where do you hope to be in ten years with your comedy? In the bath.
Any other aspirations? Sitcom, novel, play & film.
What's you favourite joke by another act or from your childhood? That finding-20p-behind-your-ear one my Great Uncle George did always got me. One day I'll work out how he did it.
