What area of London do you currently live in or most associate yourself with? I went to university in Kingston, so I'll associate myself with that and ignore the fact that it's actually in Surrey.
How would you describe your act in five words? One liners and short stories.
How long have you been doing comedy? 2.5 years.
What is your day job? Video editor.
What has been your worst job? Any one of the office temp jobs I've endured.
Why do you love comedy? Because it allows me to combine all my passions of writing, directing, and performing.
Who are your heroes? In comedy it would be Sean Lock, Jon Richardson, and Lee Mack.
What made you bite the bullet and start performing? Lee Mack's autobiography Mack The Life.
What was your first gig like? Amazing (boring I know) but it really was and it helped everything make sense.
What has been your biggest achievement so far? Being nominated for the Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year, an award with an amazing history.
What has been your favourite gig? A Laughing Boy gig at Stratford, I was on with an amazing line up and that gig changed/helped start my career.
And describe your worst? Typical story: back room of a pub on the outskirts of London in a pub I would never consider going in, let alone trying to make laugh.
Weirdest heckle? "My uncle used to work at a zoo, he's dead now." - Yep.
What is the best thing about being a comedian? Being able to do your passion and the thing you love and in doing so make people happy (most of the time).
What is the biggest lesson you've learnt? Don't be scared to try something new.
Where do you hope to be in ten years with your comedy? Using as many of the mediums possible to entertain as many people as possible.
Any other aspirations? I would love to write and direct, and even act as long as it's alongside a career in stand up comedy.
What's you favourite joke by another act or from your childhood? "I remember the last thing [my nan] said to me just before she died, 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE WITH THAT HAMMER!?" - Lee Mack.
